DDA has issued water bill of amount 3700/- approx to residents of sector 34/35, Rohini. They have charged for 2016 & 2017.
DDA/DJB (Delhi Jal Board) has not installed water meter till date and don't have any provision for meter installation. Also there is no water supply line and no sewage line is available for sector 34/35.
Allottees of DDA Housing scheme 2014 starts living in sector 34/35, Rohini from last quarter of 2015. At the time of possession, DDA officers asked us to keep water meter with us. Meter will be installed at the time when DDA/DJB will supply water through pipe line.
In this regards, RWA members of Sector 34/35 meet to DDA officers at Vikas Sadan, INA and talked to Pr. Commissioner. Principal Commissioner, Mr. J.P. Agrawal said - He will investigate the issue and will do a departmental enquiry and will come to us with resolution till end week of March. All residents have decided not to pay the bills.
As all knows that residents of sector 34/35 is still waiting for basis amenity in their area. Also facing a lot of issues in lack of basis facilities like road, security, water quality, transport, shops, medical and so on.
Till date, DDA is not able to provide basis amenity in sector 34/35, Rohini. Through these type of bills they are trying to increase more trouble for the residents.
During meeting with Pr Commissioner, Gaurav Agrawal, Prahlad Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Devendra Kumar, Neeraj Mishra, Saubhagya, Atish Jaina, Rakesh Sinha, Neeraj, Parveen Jaiswal were available.
